As a Lending Product Manager at StratFS, you will play a central role in driving innovation in our lending organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of product management responsibilities, from managing product strategy to hands-on execution. You will have the opportunity to work on our Loan Origination & Management platforms. These platforms directly impact how customers and investors experience our loan products.
Your work will also immensely impact our internal teams by increasing efficiency using automated processes, innovative products/tools and the ability to gather useful insights. We’re a relatively small team in a stable yet fast-growing financial company and would love for you to join us.
Product Managers will utilize JIRA, Confluence, LucidChart, Figma and similar technologies to capture requirements, manage release items, and maintain documentation for products and features they build. Success in this role will require the ability to communicate effectively utilizing tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Facebook Workplace to keep teams up to date, quickly work through blockers, and interact succinctly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Develop & manage the product roadmap of the origination and management platforms.
Drive product strategy based on an intimate knowledge of customer needs, business goals and technical feasibility.
Implement & refine customer-centric products, while leveraging customer research, direct customer feedback, product analytics, market analysis and technology trends.
Lead development of on-going feature enhancements, including crafting and prioritizing features, managing the backlog, and partnering closely with engineers to groom, sprint plan and implement new capabilities.
Champion the definition and creation of key processes and tools that enable our platform to scale.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Legal teams, technology partners and vendors.
Serve as an Agile product expert.
Come up with new ideas, test them with your team, and find ways to improve our software, process and potential.
5 + years experience in a software product management capacity at a technology, fintech or lending organization.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology or related engineering field preferably.
Excellent working knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development or software development methodologies.
A proven track record of listening to customers & users, understanding their needs and building products that delight them.
The ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously, without compromising results.
Excellent team player skills, with the ability to work well with other team members, product teams and business units to build iterative solutions that continuously deliver value.
Very analytical, data-driven thinking, while tackling complex problems in an organized manner.
Proven track record of entering a new space, learning new technologies and building expertise rapidly.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
